    Toy Drive

    LCS is collecting toys for the Lamar Baptist Association to distribute to families in our area for Christmas. Please send new unwrapped toys for ages 3-12 to the main office no later than Friday, November 22. Gifts may also be dropped off at the LBA office located at 2843 Highway 589, Hattiesburg, no later than Monday, November 25.

    Veterans Day

    The Veterans Day program is scheduled for Monday, November 11. The program will begin at 1:00 p.m. in the LCS gymnasium. We invite all friends, family members, and Veterans to attend. The office will close at 12:50 p.m. this day and will remain closed for the duration of the program to allow office staff the opportunity to attend the program. If you need to make transportation changes for this day, please notify the office as soon as possible.

    End of the First Nine Weeks

    The first nine weeks of the school year is quickly coming to an end. Please remember that all accounts must be kept current in order for a student to take exams. Statements from the business office are emailed on the 25th of each month. They are due on the 1st of each month. A late fee will be placed on the account if balances are not paid by the 15th of each month. Exams for the 1st Nine weeks will begin on Tuesday, October 1. Please see the attached exam schedule for the 7th-12th grade students. The exam schedule for 4th-6th grade students will be communicated by the 4th-6th grade teachers.


  • Spirit Shirts

    Spirit Shirts

    Order forms for spirit shirts were emailed. The deadline for submitting order forms and payment is Tuesday, August 20. These shirts may be worn for T-Shirt Fridays. Please choose your sizes carefully. There are no refunds or exchanges. A limited number of green spirit shirts from the previous school year are on sale in the main office for $10 each. Additionally, this coming Friday, August 16, is T-Shirt Friday. Students may pay $1 to their homeroom teacher to wear an LCS Spirit Shirt

    Chapel

    The first Chapel Services of the year will be Thursday, August 22. The 3rd-6th grade Chapel is 8:30 a.m.- 9:00a.m., K4-2nd grade Chapel is 9:10 a.m.-9:40 a.m. High School Chapel (7th-12th grade) is 9:45 a.m.–10:20 a.m. The guest speaker for 7th-12th grade Chapel is Josh Eaton from First Baptist Church of Purvis. The speaker for the 3rd-6th grade Chapel is Mrs. Angelique Kendrick. All family and friends are welcome to attend any or all Chapel Services. Please be in prayer for these services.
